Restaurant Plaža - Promenade

In the pleasant environment of the main promenade, surrounded by the blue Adriatic Sea, is the Plaža restaurant with its spacious terrace, lush greenery and a view that reaches the distant islands of Cres and Lošinj. In addition to the discreet sounds of klapa music (traditional a cappella singing), our open staff and the creativity of our chefs, every day we offer a great variety of superb local and Mediterranean dishes, as well as fish and meat specialties. When selecting ingredients, we rely on the products of small regional producers, on the daily catch and on specific seasonal culinary items. Our dishes are seasoned with freshly milled large grain sea salt, black pepper, fresh herbs and extra virgin olive oil that we make ourselves. When creating the menu, we took special care to include our vegetarian and vegan guests, as well as persons with gluten and lactose intolerance. Đardin Tavern is a place where we wish to provide every customer with a merry time in a relaxed, coastal atmosphere, listening to the live sounds of klapa, in addition to a truly authentic gastronomical experience. For our guests, we have prepared a wide variety of local food, a great selection of fresh fish, seafood, sea and meat delicacies prepared using first-class ingredients by local vendors. Specialties from the fireplace as prepared by our grandmothers are the tour the force of a cuisine where modern culinary techniques continue to be overshadowed by the traditional and the irreplaceable, such as dishes prepared under the baking lid, fish baked in salt, etc. We have coordinated the quality of service, ambiance, taste, smell and experience down to the last details. By telling a culinary story, we tried to evoke the spirit of southern Italy using the traditional Napoli delicacy – pizza. The quality of our pizzas is achieved by selecting only top-quality ingredients, thin crusty dough, years of experience and the knowledge of top pizza makers, who prepare the pizza before your eyes. The basis of most of our pizzas is homemade tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and olive oil that we produce ourselves, and for culinary adventurers, we also prepare several varieties of Bianco pizzas with a white sauce foundation made of cream and cheese. By using only moderate flavoring, we enable the harmony of the pizzas and the great selection of wines, which we also offer by the glass.
